MANSARD leads losers, as NGX Market CAP gains N305.61bn

MANSARD Insurance Plc led losers on the Nigerian equities market as the market closed positively.

The NGX All-Share Index advanced by 0.78 percent, closing at 71,808.64 basis points, compared to the previous day’s gain of 0.43 percent, which closed at 71,250.17 basis points. The NGXASI now stands at 40.11 percent.

The NGX Market CAP also recorded a gain of N305.61 billion in Naira terms.

The total volume traded advanced by 59.15 percent to close at N690.01 million, valued at N12.10 billion and traded in 8,412 deals. GTCO was the most traded stock by volume and value, with N76.70 million and N3.04 billion units traded.

The Gate Index declined by 0.01 percent to close at 183.35, while the Toni index advanced by 1.54 percent to close at 381.06 basis points.

At the close of trading, the market recorded 34 gainers, 21 losers, and 64 unchanged. THOMASWY topped the gainers list, while MANSARD topped the list of losers.
