Man raises alarm over disappearance of late son’s friend accused of being gay

A middle-aged man, Mr Joshua Adeleke, has raised the alarm over the disappearance of his late son’s friend, Mr Adeola Gabriel Adebiyi, following alleged constant police harassment and attacks by neighbours over the accusation that he is gay.

Mr Joshua, in a recent interview with journalists, said Adeola’s whereabouts were unknown following threats of arrest and public disdain that Adeola and his son Emmanuel Adeleke were gay.

Speaking on behave of the family of the late son, he said the gay was reportedly caught in the act and attacked leading to the involvement of the police.

“They were both attacked by people in the neighbourhood of Mushin, Lagos State, on the 4th of October 2023 but my son Emmanuel, unfortunately, lost his life before reaching the hospital, due to the severity of punishment they were both subjected to and during the attack Adeola managed to escape the attack”

The Police are now looking for Adeola Gabriel Adebiyi.

It said anyone with useful information about his whereabouts that could lead to his arrest should alert the police and such person will handsomely be rewarded.
