Man lands in court over 2.1 million naira theft

A 24-year-old man, Ahmed Fadulilahi, has been arraigned before an Osogbo Magistrate’s for allegedly stealing a sum of two million, one hundred and seventy-eight thousand, five hundred naira
The prosecutor, ASP Taiwo Adegoke told the court that the accused person committed the offence in December 2020 in Osogbo.
He alleged that the accused person did steal the sum of two million, one hundred and seventy-eight thousand, five hundred naira from Captain Cook Bakery in Osogbo.
The offence committed contravened section 390 (9)(6) of the criminal code CAP 34 vol 11 law of Osun state Nigeria 2002.
However, the accused person pleaded not guilty to the allegation slammed against him.
Defence counsel B.O Odutola prayed the court to grant his client bail in the most liberal terms.
In his ruling, Isola Omishade granted the accused the bail of one million naira with two sureties.
He, therefore, adjourned the case till 24 of March 2021 for ruling.
