Man killed, wife and 2 children abducted by gunmen in Abuja

A man named Mr. Felix Chuks was fatally shot by armed assailants, believed to be bandits, in the Ushafa community within the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The incident, which occurred around midnight on Thursday, also involved the abduction of Mr. Chuks’s wife and two children.

A security on Friday confirmed that the attackers arrived in the area under the cover of darkness, unleashing a barrage of gunfire.

“The attackers descended on the community at midnight, firing heavily. Security personnel are currently present in the area,”

Attempts to reach FCT police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, for comment were unsuccessful. She did not answer multiple phone calls or respond to text messages, leaving the situation unresolved as the report was being compiled.
