A 42- year old man, Mr Ejiro Patrick, who hails from Delta State on Wednesday, beats his wife to death.
The incident happened along kilometer 14 Tyomu, Gboko road where the man said to be a fisherman mercilessly beats the wife to death over money .
An eye witness told Nigerian NewsDirect that Ejiro’s anger against his wife was that she sold some items belonging to the family and did not remit N5,000.
According to him, the victim bled profusely from the nostrils and was later rushed to the Benue State Teaching Hospital, BSUTH where she was confirmed dead and her body has since been deposited at the hospital mortuary.
When contacted, the Benue State Command Police Public Relations Officer DSP Catherine Anene confirmed the incident, intimating that the suspect has been arrested.
