Makinde gives out daughter in marriage

A former lawmaker, Hon. Rotimi Makinde has given out the hand of his daughter in marriage over the weekend.

It was such a joyful mood for the family of Hon.Rotimi Makinde who among other things celebrated  his birthday on the 3rd of January, 2024.

The bride coincidentally was also born on January 9th making the reason for the Capricornian Hotel and family 3,6 and 9th of every January.

The beloved family and friends were all with joy as dignitaries across the nation honoured one of the frontiers of the South West Agenda 23 Swaga, a group known for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu since 2020, BAT for President.

Speaking, Makinde said, “We could not be more grateful for having you all attend our daughter’s wedding. You mean the world to us and we feel so lucky to have such an incredible outing and the support was so superb. Thank you so much for making our daughter’s wedding a very astonishing one!

“Your contribution to the success of the  event of our lives will remain etched in our minds forever, and we are appreciative that you could share in the joy of what was the happiest and most significant day of our lives. Your prayers, gifts, warm and earnest wishes are truly unforgettable. Celebration will never cease in your life. God bless you abundantly.”

Makinde stated, “Hon Kutigi and Hon Dr Ibrahim Gusau my school mate and former colleagues, I can’t but single these people out to appreciate them both They came all the way from the far from north part of Nigeria..Sen Gbenga Obadara, Sen Babajide Omoworare, Hon Segun Omoworare, Hon Bimbo Daramola, Hon Abiodun Balogun, Hon Barr Adetunji Ajagbe,Ajibola Famurewa,Yinka Ajayi Bakare, Bosun Oladele and many politicians from Osun state and Lagos ground, Hon Rotimi Oloro, Yeye Oge of Egba land, Prophetess Kanrinkese, Lady Janet Ope Irawo, Chief Tahoeed Ajao, Hon Tijani Elempe, Prince Ayinde Olanrewaju an estate experts.”

It was a well attended occasion witnessed by about 15 Obas from Ile Ife led by the Second in command to Ooni of Ife, Oba Idowu Adediwura,the Obalufe of Ife..Rotimi Makinde holds the title of Bobaselu of Ile ife Fiwagboye of Ila Orangun,Mayegun of Ifewara and Bobajiro of Ede,many persons from this town were all in attendance.

Several NNPC gurus who were all former colleagues of Makinde and Bola Makinde graced the wedding ceremony. Baales, several title holders which includes Chief Funminiyi  Awontinde Akantioke, Architect Dunni Opayemi, Alh Yisa Aremu and friends, many Car dealers led by chief Abiodun ogbomola,Lanre Gentry, Otunba Makanjuola.

The occasion was chaired by Prince Adegboyega Ogunwusi Sooko Layeekun of Ile Ife.

Also well attended by big gurus in political class of Osun State Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, Alh Wole Oyebamiji, the MD of Water Inland Way of Nigeria , Osun APC ]arty chairman of Osun State and a former commissioner Alh Sooko Tajudeen Lawal and his executive members, Engr Remi Omowaye, Hon Benjamin Adereti, Hon Ayodele Fanibe, Chief Yinka Omisade, The Oluboris church congregation led by Chief Folarin, Chief Obadina Monsuru Fala,Mr Bakky Adeoye, Mr Deji Adenuga a member of Nollywood family who flew in from Dublin, Lady Bukky Arewa, Barr Tunji Bamisigbin, Mr Kola Odufuwa, the old grammarians of OGS led by Prince Adewale Adeboye, Mrs Cecilia And Hon Kunle Ojuade, the Makindes family led by Alh Ganiyu Makinde.
