Makinde appoints new Deputy CoS, DG Liaison Offices

Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, has appointed Mr Ademola Ojo, a former Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), as his new Deputy Chief of Staff.

A statement by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Print Media, Moses Alao, issued in Ibadan on Friday, indicated that Makinde also appointed Mr Wale Ajani as the Director-General, Oyo State Liaison Offices, Lagos and Abuja.

The governor, while congratulating the new appointees, charged them to discharge their duties with diligence, dedication and loyalty to the state.

The new deputy chief of staff rose to the peak of his career and retired as an Area Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in 1999.

He served as caretaker chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Igboora, from 2000 to 2003; and was later elected as the executive chairman of the council for two terms.

The new DG, Oyo State Liaison Offices, Lagos and Abuja, holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Lagos and an LL.B Law degree from the University of Abuja.

His work experience cuts across the fields of software development and youth development, among others.
