The immediate past Chairman, Economics and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Mr Ibrahim Magu has been released from detention on Wednesday evening.
Magu was arrested following series of petition over value of recovered loot and has been in detention since last week Monday by the police.
The lawyer had applied to the Inspector General of Police for bail as a condition that will enable him to prepare his defence for multiple allegations on corruption and insubordination.
. He has been appearing before a presidential panel investigating allegations of corruption and insubordination levelled against him by Abubakar Malami, Nigeria’s justice minister.
