Local resident brutally slain in Delta community

Unknown persons have killed Pigha Zipamone, an indigene of Okoloba community in Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State.

The deceased, who was said to have gone to his mother’s farm to work, was abducted, beaten to stupor, with his hands tied behind his back, and killed.

His body was said to have been thrown into the River Forcados in the early hours of Saturday, March 9, by his killers.

It was gathered that the incident is connected to the land dispute between Okoloba and Okuama communities in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the development.
