Living Faith: Bishop Oyedepo speaks of death, reveals why he’ll place curse on successor

Living Faith Church founder, David Oyedepo has warned his successor against running the church with a loan.

Oyedepo vowed to place a curse on his successor if he opts to run Living Faith Church on loan.

Addressing members of his church in Ota, Ogun State, the clergyman said Living Faith got to its current height without borrowing; hence his successor should be able to replicate the same.

Bishop Oyedepo wondered why people borrow to live extravagant lifestyles.

He cautioned those living large to be wary of the implication of borrowing on their families when they die.

According to Oyedepo: “There are many stupid wealthy people who are owing more than they own.

“Your net worth is N1 billion and you owe N10 billion. That is minus N9 billion. Is that wisdom? And you will be doing big boy around town but the banks know you are a small boy.

“When I am going to heaven at my old age, if Jesus tarries, there will be a curse on anyone who borrows on behalf of this church until Jesus returns.

“You don’t have to, if we got to where we are without borrowing. How dare you? Where did you get it from? I am not owing any man living or dead.

“I am going to heaven smiling. I have not cheated anyone.”
