Life-Baker Group of School holds 15th graduation ceremony

Life Baker Group of School held the 15th edition of its annual graduation ceremony on Saturday at Ijoko Road, Sango-Ota, Ogun State.

The Chairman of the occasion, Pastor Isaac Akinyele, who appreciated God for the opportunity to witness the event, commended  the school proprietor for the great work he has been doing, praying for God’s wisdom upon his life.

Pastor Akinyele felicitated the graduands, saying what they are doing is a golden opportunity for them for given the grace to witness the occasion, he decreed God wisdom upon them, he said education is an investment, he prayed for the parents that God will allow them to reap the fruit of their labour.

On her part, the proprietress of the school, Mrs Oluwayemisi Arowojolu gave glory to God for giving them the grace to end the 2021/2022 academic session in peace.

“We can’t thank you enough for your continuous support,” she added while appreciating the principal.

According to her, Life-Baker is committed to delivering quality education by providing standby generator, adequate water supply, laboratory, ICT computer training, and health centre, among others infrastructure.

In his speech, the outgoing head boy of primary school, Oloyede David, said, “I am grateful to God for the opportunity given to me to stand here as the outgoing head boy of Life-Baker Montessori School 2021/2022 academic session.

“I had mixed feeling at first meeting new faces, new teachers with different methodology of teaching from one I am used to, so I battled with the challenges of meeting with my parent’s expectation for good academic performance.

“I was given an encouragement that made me scale through and score high marks in my academic.

“My parting words to my younger peers are that you need to believe in yourself and overcome your fear because fear is the only thing that can hinder your success in life. I honestly believe everyone has the potential to do what they want to do, so make it happen by overcoming your fear.”

Also speaking, Chairman, Life-Baker Group of school, Pastor S.I Arowojolu, gave thanks to God  for the chance to make progress for years.

Pastor Arowojolu also appreciated the parents and guardians, saying “without you Life-Baker cannot exist.”

He specifically thanked some parents who have been with the school for years. He congratulated the parents of the following students: Oladipo Isaiah, Olagoke Gabriel, Akinola Boluwatife, Osula Daniella, and Ajani Ajibade.

In his words, “About three to four years ago, I said students of this school will not write GCE again because of the quality of education we render to the students.

“Life-Baker has been recognised and is prepared to moved to higher level. Our aim is that our students will be having distinction parallel.

“We want to ensure that our parents enroll their children in Life-Baker, the free entrepreneurship programme has been inaugurated.

“I thank the students for not disappointing the school. All the 80 students that wrote WAEC had excellent performance in various subjects,” he added.

Meanwhile, students showcased their talents during the event through cultural dance, choreography and other activities.
