‘Lere Oyewumi led thugs to disrupt APC meeting, attack me’, Says Osun APC Assembly candidate, Bisi Oyegbade

One of the Osun State House of Assembly candidates of the All Progressives Congress (AP) in the forthcoming general election, Hon. Adebisi Oyegbade, well known as Bisi Ilu, says God saved him from being killed by some political thugs in the state, AMILOADED reports.

Oyegbade who is contesting to represent the people of Irewole/Isokan state constituency alleged that Akogun Lere Oyewumi, the senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) invaded a meeting of the APC with thugs he imported into the state from Ibadan, Oyo State.

Oyegbade who was reacting to being called a thug by Oyewumi said senatorial candidate “is just feeling jittery of the outcome of the general elections because the people knows Hon. Oyegbade of the APC is the most popular candidate of all.”

While calling on Oyewumi to “desist from the blackmail and name slander” of the APC candidates in the area, the House of Assembly candidate said the PDP, through Lere Oyewumi, “are just looking for sympathy votes, hence the cheap blackmail on the APC candidates.”

He said this in a statement signed and made available to AMILOADED on Friday.
