Mr Musefiu Lamidi, the Deputy Minority Leader, Ogun State House of Assembly, has commended Gov. Dapo Abiodun for his fair distribution of road projects across the three senatorial districts.
Lamidi (APM – Ado Odo/Ota II) gave the commendation while speaking with journalists in Abeokuta on Thursday.
The legislator lauded the state government’s intervention in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area, saying the governor had approved the Ikoga-Ado-Odo, Igbesa-Ejila and Lusada-Alapoti roads in his constituency.
Lamidi noted that the development would bring about improved human and vehicular traffic for private sector operators.
He described good roads as something very important to economic development of the state.
Lamidi expressed optimism that Public Private Partnership initiative for the construction of Lusada road in Ado Odo/Ota local government would yield massive socio-economic benefits.
He however, called for the timely completion of the road projects.
Lamidi assured his constituents of quality representation in the state house of assembly.
He said that the existing cordial relationship between the executive and legislative arms would bring about more positive transformation to all sectors of the state economy.
