Lawal, Adewoyin urge APC to accept new members at revalidation exercise

…Commends Ibiyemi on mobilization project

The Honourable Commissioner, Home affairs State of Osun, Tajudeen Lawal and a former Deputy Governor State of Osun, Soko Adewoyin has urged the members of the  All Progressive Congress party at registration and Revalidation Exercise to accept new members with joy.

Lawal speaking to Nigerian NewsDirect daily exclusively said this in Ile-Ife, State of Osun when Honourable Samuel Ibiyemi, a chieftain and financier of the party in the state mobilized new members to the registration center in Ile-iIfe.

He commended Ibiyemi for his great effort in ensuring that the party moves forward in the state.

Lawal also thanked Ibiyemi for numerous projects, such as grading of roads, electric poles he has done in his ward and environment, adding that the registration is going well in the state compared to other states.

Also speaking at the validation exercise centre during the registration of Ibiyemi, Former Deputy Governor, Soko Adeleke Adewoyin said, “I salute you for your efforts in assisting Ife indigenes and State of Osun at large.

“I remember when he came out in the last election as governorship candidate, he came to me and he told me about his ambition and we supported him.

“Later on the run, the now Governor of State of Osun, Gboyega Oyetola called him to seek for support and he told Ibiyemi that after his own tenure, he will support him to become governorship candidate of the party.

“I could recall that it was all over the news that Ibiyemi stepped down for Oyetola so as to support him  and see today, how he is supporting Oyetola with good intentions in the state, After Oyetola, we will support him for the gubernatorial seat, he is a true son of Ile-Ife and I pray God will continue to support him,” Adewoyin said.

In his address after he revalidated his membership,  Dr Ibiyemi welcomed the new members and urged members to make sure the new members see the party as their own.

He also thanked other party leaders present at his validation ceremony for the support, adding that the people in of Ife will continue to support the party.
