Lagos Zonal Commander charges Ogun FRSC officers on dedication in 2021

Lagos Zonal Commanding Officer of Federal Road Safety Corps, ACM Peter Kibido has charged men of Ogun state command to redouble their efforts in the year 2021 and remain dedicated to given good account of themselves at their various duty posts

ACM Peter Kibido urged the officers to shun all manner of sharp practices in the new year but rather focus on concerted efforts of the FRSC to preserve precious lives of road users across the country.

Kibido gave this counsel when he came to Ogun State on Monday to monitor the Special End of the Year Patrol put up by the FRSC to ensure safe motoring before, during and after the festivities of Christmas and the New Year.

He said the Corps Marshal of the agency, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi  was passionate about ensuring that their welfare was well taken care of in the year 2021 saying that the least they could do was to reciprocate this favourable disposition by putting in their very best at their various duty posts towards achieving the set goals of the safety agency.

Kibido urged the officers to ensure that they forge a working alliance with other security agencies in the state as this would help to always have necessary security back up whenever the need arises.

The Zonal Commander, who lauded the officers for their patriotism and selfless service in the out gone year has however appealed to them to abide by all COVID-19 protocols saying that the pandemic was real and that they should therefore join forces with the government in defeating this viral disease.

Speaking during the visit, a member of FRSC Board, Navy Captain Babatunde Adedimeji Ishola (Rtd)  commended the activities of the Corps along the Corridor saying that he was impressed with what he had been seen and heard about the officers of Ogun State Sector Command.

Capt. Babatunde Ishola (rtd) urged the officers to keep the flag flying and remain good ambassadors of FRSC at the times.

Kibido who also had in his entourage a member of FRSC board, Navy Captain Babatunde Adedimeji Ishola (Rtd), the Sector Commander Ogun State, CC Ahmed Umar as well as the Corps Commander, Lagos Plant, CC Roila Koli later inspected the traffic corridor from Ijebu Ode to Ajebamidele bridge, the boundary between Ogun State and Lagos State.

The entourage received by the Corridor Commander VI, DCC Lasisi Ogundele and Ijebu Ode Unit Commander, ACC Bashiru Adeyemi also visited the Help Area created in front of Hallmark University, Ijebu Itele, by Ogun State Sector Command of FRSC as well as Ogbere outpost of Ijebu Ode Unit Command.
