LAGFERRY has contributed 38% to water transportation business — CEO

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Lagferry, Hon. Ladi Balogun said the company has contributed 38 per cent to water transportation business in the country.

Speaking at a strategic management workshop with a theme: “Resilient Sailing for Sustainable Economy”, he said the workshop is organized to achieve predominantly Lagferry operations with a tune of strategically positioned for the challenges of 2021 and beyond

He expressed that they aim to develop a resilient operational system of Lagferry services and the entire state in-line with the agenda of Lagos state Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

However, the Guest Speaker, Chief Gbolahan Owoduni Oki said in the workshop it is very important, stressing that it aims to prompt the infrastructural development agenda of the present administration.

He also said the administration of Governor Sanwo-Olu has been proactive in implementing various luxurious promises towards building total resolve of the transport sector and to development of water transportation.

He said resilience is about thinking outside the box and it must be inclusive of the ability to ask those that know about it and put it into practice.
