Kwara to host 53rd NIESV conference

The President, Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuer (NIESV), Johnbull Amayaevbo, has arrived Kwara to inspect the facilities on ground for the successful hosting of the 53rd edition of the Institution’s conference in 2023.

Newsmen reports that after the inspection, the president paid a courtesy visit to Kwara Deputy Governor, Mr Kayode Alabi, on Friday in Ilorin.

In his address, he called for the support of the government to see to the clauses in the civil service regarding its members for professionalism.

Among his team are members of the institution, Kwara branch, and the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr Afeez Abolore, who is also a member of the institution.

Responding, Alabi described the institution as a catalyst to the economic development of the society.

He said the NIESV is one of the household names in Nigeria with professionals across the country.

The deputy governor emphasised that the professionalism of the institution is a barometer for measuring the extent of real estate development in any society.

Alabi acknowledged the role of NIESV as important because they attach value to properties and help in the exchange of such values.
