Kwara to appeal Industrial Court’s judgement

Kwara Government has rejected last Thursday’s judgement of the Industrial Court on the dissolution of some commissions in the state.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Press secretary, Ministry of Justuce Mr. Oyinloye Shola and made available to journalists in Ilorin.

He said government would appeal the judgement.

The commissions affected in the judgement are the Civil Service commission, the Kwara state Independent Electoral Commission,and  the Kwara state House of Assembly

“The government rejects the judgement and will be appealing same. The appeal will involve an application of the judgement of the Honourable court,”the statement read in part.
