Kwara: PDP nominates Bode Ogunleye, Isiaka Mogaji members of PDP’s Zonal c’ttee

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State has announced the nomination of Chief Bode Ogunleye and Honourable Isiaka Mogaji as members of the North Central Zonal Committee of the party.
In a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Olusegun Olusola Adewara, the party disclosed that the duo, drawn from Kwara South and Central Senatorial districts of Kwara State have been nominated to represent the state at the zonal level.
Their inauguration is scheduled to take place in Abuja on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at a venue already communicated to them by the Zonal secretary.
Hon. Bode Ogunleye, a seasoned politician, businessman, and farmer, hails from Obbo-Ile, Ekiti LG. He holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from LAUTECH. His extensive political career includes serving as a Councillor in Amuwo Odofin Ward of Lagos State, Secretary and Vice Chairman of Ekiti LG, Executive Chairman of Ekiti LG, Commissioner for Economic Planning in Kwara state, Legislative Aide to the Nigerian Senate President, and Board Member of the Nigerian Lottery Commission.
Hon. Isiaka Mogaji, a Sapati-born politician and businessman, also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration. He is the Managing Director of Quality Plus Consulting and Training Services.
A two-term member of the Kwara State House of Assembly, who chaired key committees including Education, Public Petitions/Ethics Privileges/Anti-Corruption.
He is also a Federal Board Member of the Rubber Research Institute of Nigeria, Benin City, and currently serves as the Secretary of the Forum of Kwara Ex-Lawmakers.
The Babatunde Mohammed-led State Working Committee (SWC), while extending her congratulations to the two party chieftains, also urged them to bring their wealth of political experiences to bear in their new roles, ensuring that Kwara State is well represented at the Zonal level of the party.
