Over 1,500 residents have benefited from a Fidelity Food Bank outreach in Kabuga community, Dala Local Government Area of Kano State.

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, carried out in collaboration with Misnoory Foundation, saw bank staff distribute essential food items to support people during the holy month of Ramadan.

Commenting on the distribution event, Divisional Head, Brands and Communications, Fidelity Bank Plc, Dr Meksley Nwagboh, underlined the bank’s commitment to uplifting its host communities through meaningful initiatives.

“Social responsibility is integral to our identity as a bank. Our Fidelity Food Bank initiative is one of the ways we promote social welfare in the communities we serve.

“As a result, we have distributed over 150,000 food packs at outreach events like this across the country since the initiative’s launch in April 2023. Our outreach in Kabuga is specifically aimed at supporting women, widows, children, and the wider community with essential food supplies for the Ramadan season.”

In her remarks, the Founder of Misnoory Foundation, Maryam Isa Inuwa, stated: “The foundation’s dedication to poverty alleviation and various humanitarian efforts to aid society’s most vulnerable members aligns perfectly with the Fidelity Bank initiative.
