Kabiyesi Akinola: Vibrant king, passionate about progressive change in Ifetedo community

It takes the bravery of an Eagle to soar above others, and the heart of a Lion to make positive change in an established tradition. These go in two attributes that blend the young, agile, vibrant acumen with learned and sophisticated Paramount Royal Father of IFE SOUTH Local Government, KABIYESI OBA AKINOLA AKINRERA LATIRI THE FIRST, OLUBOSIN of IFETEDO.

Three years ago, IFETEDO the Headquarters of IFE SOUTH Local Government in the State of OSUN, welcomed the arrival of a new king. Since his ascension to the throne of his forefathers, the wave of progressive change and legion of positive and meaningful impact have engulfed the entire community.

During the COVID-19 PANDEMIC,  his imperial majesty mobilised his subjects to rally round the less privileged with provision of financial and food support to the vulnerable and those in need in the entire community.

The issue of security challenges was finally and permanently nipped in the bud within six months of his ascension on the throne. One is not surprised about this as the king himself combined his experience in legal profession with security consultancy to effect meaningful changes within a spate of reasonable time.

The Royal Father believes in youth as bane of positive change in the community and it was not difficult for him to start introducing vibrant and worthy young professionals with track records into positions of honour in the community.

The  installation of elegantly beautiful high Chief Jumoke Olowo Awo -deyi  as the ERELU of the kingdom, Chief LEYE FAYEMI as the Osi Oye, and professor Abdul Jeleel Ojuade  as the Chief Alasa of Ifetedo are but a few testimony of the plan of the KABIYESI for his people. Many other youths have equally been honoured with worthy recognitions.

In continuation of his commitment and dedication to put the name of his community Ifetedo on a global scale, the KABIYESI recently invited President Olusegun Obasanjo (GCFR) to the community to chair the installation of a business mogul and the AJAGUNLA of YORUBA LAND, the High Chief Olubiyi Fadeyi as the Chief ATAYESE THE 2ND of Ifetedo kingdom, an occasion corresponding to the KABIYESI’s third coronation anniversary and launching of a new ultramodern Palace.

KABIYESI, your reign is a blessing to the community and your people.
