Judicial panel summons 109 individuals over Rivers LG arson

The Commission of Inquiry set up the Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminailayi Fubara to look into the recent attacks and arson at some local government headquarters in the State has summoned about 109 persons across the affected councils.
Recall that Fubara had appointed a Commission of Inquiry headed by Justice I.R Minakiri to inquire into the arson, killings and wanton destruction of properties at some local government council headquarters, which occurred on Monday, 7th October, 2024.
This is in pursuant to the call and receipt of memoranda by the Judicial Commission of Inquiry on the arson, killings and wanton destruction of property at the local government council headquarters in Rivers State.
The invitees include five former Council Chairmen and pro-Wike supporters. They are: Hon Samuel Nwanosike, former Ikwerre Local Government Chairman, Hon Ben Eke (Ahoada East), Hon Hope Ikiriko (Ahoada West),Obarilormate Ollor (Eleme), among other 105 persons.
They are to appear on their scheduled dates, starting from October, 30th, 2024. The summon list with dates read in parts:
