Joint Task Force neutralises 2 suspected Lakurawa bandits in Kebbi

The Joint Task Force of security operatives in Kebbi has neutralised two suspected Lakurawa bandits, while several others escaped with injuries, during an operation in Rubin Bisa and Fana Villages, Dandi Local Government Area of Kebbi.This is contained in a statement issued by the Director of Security, Alhaji AbdulRahman Zagga, in the Cabinet Office, Government House in Birnin Kebbi.

Zagga said the operation, which was carried out on Wednesday, was based on intelligence and surveillance reports.

”The intervention followed a complaint lodged a week ago by the Chairman of Dandi LGA, Dr Mansur Kamba, regarding bandits’ activities in Fana and Rubin Bisa villages.

He said that sophisticated weapons were recovered from the suspects.
