Jigawa Senator embarks on project to end 40 years of erosion in community

The Senator representing Jigawa Northwest has embarked on a project to put an end to fourty years of erosion in Gurai, Kore, Tagwayen area of Jigawa State.

The Senator speaking, explained that this is the right time to reward the people he is representing to start fulfilling the promises he took during the campaign period.

He noted that the people can expect him to embark on road projects next to connect the kore, siyori and Gurai village to Majia which are all among the promises he took during the last period of his campaign.

Speaking with journalists, the Senator also promised to partner with the Jigawa state Government to stop the erosion and bring back the land in to normalcy to enable the owner of the land to utilised their land.

Responding, the women leader of Kore community, Hajia Sumayya praised the Senator for delivering the dividends lf democracy to the community while also lamenting neglect by previous legislators.
