Jigawa health agency commissions midwife quarters, facilities in Kirikasamma

The Jigawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency has commissioned new midwife quarters and other facilities at the Madaci Health Centre in Kirikasamma Local Government Area.
This initiative aligns with Governor Umar Namadi’s 12-point agenda to improve healthcare across the state.
During the handing-over ceremony, the Chairman of Kirikasamma Local Government, Muhammad Maji Wakili Marma, commended Governor Namadi’s administration for its commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure.
He emphasized the vital role midwives and healthcare personnel play and praised the provision of accommodation and logistics support for them.
Maji urged health workers to be punctual and diligent in their duties, explaining the importance of maintaining high standards in the healthcare system.
The Chairman of the Ward Development Committee, Ibrahim Local, assured that the committee would uphold the rules for maintaining the new quarters and other supplies.
Yusuf Bashir, representing the Executive Secretary of the Jigawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency, outlined the guidelines for the proper handling of the facilities.
He noted that the initiative was part of efforts to improve antenatal care, immunization, and other essential health services provided by the Madaci Health Centre.
