Jigawa first lady flags off distribution of 60,000 exercise books to nomadic schools

The Jigawa State First Lady, Hajia Hadiza Umar Namadi, has flagged off the distribution of 60,000 exercise books to Nomadic schools across the state.
Speaking at the Government House in Dutse, Hajia Namadi stated that the state government is committed to improving Nomadic education in Jigawa.
The first lady explained that the 60,000 exercise books are ready for distribution to Nomadic primary and secondary schools across the state. She appealed to parents to support their children by ensuring regular attendance in school.
The Executive Secretary of Nomadic Education in Jigawa State, Hajia Ramatu Muhd, commended the state government for its support of Nomadic education.
She highlighted the construction and renovation of many Nomadic schools across the state, as well as the establishment of Adult Islamic centers in selected Nomadic settlements.
Hajia Ramatu noted that the state has established 55 Nomadic Islamic centers to eradicate illiteracy in rural areas.
She added that the state government has purchased 200 three-seater pupil seats and 3000 seating mats for distribution to Nomadic schools and Islamic centers.
The Jigawa State Government has demonstrated its commitment to improving Nomadic education, with a total of 480 Nomadic primary and junior secondary schools in the state.
