Iseyin: Rescue remaining three kidnapped farmers –Shina Peller

A member of the House of Representatives representing the Iseyin/ Itesiwaju/ Iwajowa/Kajola federal constituency, Hon. Shina Abiola Peller, has urged security agents to, without wasting more time, rise up and rescue the remaining three kidnapped victims in his constituency.

Recall that abductors kidnapped four farmers around Iseyin town on Saturday in Oyo State.

Earlier reported that one of the kidnapped victims had been killed by the kidnappers.

The kidnapped victim who was killed by the kidnappers has been identified as Adeyemi Michael.

The lawmaker has, however, urged the security agents to rescue the remaining three kidnapped victims without wasting more time.

Peller, in a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday, advised the security forces to mobilize in full force to ensure the perpetrators are brought to book and rescue those still in captivity.

“It breaks my heart to learn that four farmers were abducted and one killed in the agricultural settlement area of Iseyin, Oyo State.

“This hits so close to home because Iseyin is my constituent and my hometown.

“I offer my sincere condolences to the family of Adeyemi Michael, one of those abducted, on the tragic death of their son.

“I call on the security forces to mobilize in full force to ensure the perpetrators of this heinous act are brought to book and the remaining three abductees are released alive to restore peace and orderliness in Iseyin,” he said.
