Int’l Energy Insurance appoints Ayeni as MD/CEO

International Energy Insurance (IEI) Plc has announced the appointment of Mr Ebunola Ayeni as its Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer with effect from July 23.

This is contained in a notice signed by the Head, Legal and Compliance, IEI, Mr Reginald Reuben, sent to the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) Limited, stakeholders and investing public on Tuesday in Lagos.

According to the notice, Ayeni’s appointment followed the approval of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).

According to the notice, Ayeni has a BSc Insurance from the University of Lagos, MBA Marketing from Ladoke Akintola University and MSc Strategic Management from Emily State University.

“He is an accomplished Chartered Insurer, Risk Analyst, Administrator and Management consultant equipped with the best track record in executive board roles and management skills within insurance industry, consulting and academics for over 33 years.

“Ayeni is a fellow, Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria; fellow, Institute of Loans and Risk Management, Nigeria; Associate member, Nigeria Council of Registered Brokers,”it said.
