“There are various ways to achieve it. It’s not about the Perm Sec. We are not doing selective treatment on the issue. We are doing whatever it takes to free him,” the commissioner said.

According to him, the state government within the last two weeks had a meeting with heads of security agencies to come up with strategies that would bring to end the activities of bandits in the state.

Idris noted that since most attacks emanated from the rural communities, the state government is engaging the people on the need to join in the war against Banditry in the state.

He insisted, ” attacks are coming from the rural communities, not the bush, that is why the government is engaging the people in the communities to address the issue.”

” We will not allow bandits to detect how we live our lives. We will continue to take measures to secure the lives of our people.

” We will not turn out backs on our people, we will do our best. And we will see the end of this menace”.
