In a bid to have a better security in the country, President Mohamadu Buhari, has been charged to seek the face of the almighty God in curbing the insecurity situation in the country most especially in the northern part of Nigeria, declaring that security cannot be visible with the use of gun alone but incurring more problems to the existing ones.
The District Superintendent of Umuahia Central Jerusalem District of Assemblies of God Church, Nigeria Rev Dr. Henry Emelike who made the declaration during the church’s 7th Anniversary program saying that Nigeria has sinned against God and man.
He further said that President Buhari “is the commander-in-chief that controls the will power to arrest the situation of insecurity, in the country.
He added, “We pray that President Buhari can come up with genuine interest to arrest the situation. We pray that the Almighty God will give him the will power to face this ugly challenge.
“He has been trying his best but I still believe that God will give him the ability to bring the situation to a stand still.”
Rev. Emelike told religious leaders in the country to live an exemplary life of righteousness, and holiness as well as removing every hypocrisy that have enveloped the Nigerian society.
He expressed his belief in the efficacy of prayer, stating that in the face of provocation by unknown gunmen and the armed northern insurgents, God will arrest insecurity in the country.
