Insecurity: Benue SUBEB Chairman debunks speculations of closure of Schools

Following the closure of Schools in the Northern part of the country as a result of the continued insecurity state characterized by kidnapping, armed banditry, herdsmen /farmers crisis among others, the Executive Chairman Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Comrade Joseph Utse has dismissed the speculations in its entirety making around that Schools in Benue State may be closed down.
Comrade Utse also revealed that despite the high level of insecurity in the country Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has put in place security measures that are seriously checkmating the excesses of criminals in which ever form.
Utse dismissed the speculations while fielding questions from Newsmen on Tuesday in Makurdi about the closure of Schools in Benue State.
According to Utse, the speculations that Schools in Benue State will be closed down is already dead on arrival because such a thing will never come close to Benue State talk less about happening..
He explained that even the Sankara axis of the State that used to be fragile due to the activities of the killed mist wanted Benue criminal Terwase Akwaza where Schools were closed down, Schools in the area have since resumed and academic activities going on smoothly.
Comrade Utse attributed the relative peace being enjoyed by the people of the State and Sankara in particular, to Governor Samuel Ortom for his dogged fight by ensuring peace and the protection of lives and property of Benue citizens.
