Insecurity and Boko Haram antics

The daredevil Boko Haram terrorists continue to have their way anytime, anywhere unchallenged from the security apparatus.

It’s no longer news that the terrorists control some  areas in some states in the Northern part of the country and even collect levies from those living in such areas.

The new tactic now is the inversion of their targeted areas, killings, raping and abduction of youths of both sexes for forceful recruitment into Boko Haram terrorist.

One of similar attacks took place in Angwar Tofa in Zango Kataf Southern Kaduna state northern Nigeria where many people were killed while others were abducted and taken into custody.

In a bid to escape, some people chartered commercial and private vehicles on 22/03/2021. The terrorists got to know about the plan and gave them a hot chase and caught up with them. While some escaped to different directions, others were not that lucky hence the abduction of many.

Since then some families have been looking for their children and loved ones. The missing persons are John Emeba, Solomon Uwakwe, Victor Onyedika,  Chukwuebuka Daniel  Chinagorom, Dickson Okeke, Kate Egwu, Betty Chiwendu Okpara, Emeka Ani and Benard Hassan.

Their families have being combing the nearby bushes to see if they could come across their body(s)  hence their whereabouts remain unknown. There has been an uneasy calm in the families,  some parents are said to be developing mental disorders because the terrorists had made it clear that some of the youths are  their target according to reports.

Meanwhile, the parents have sought the help of the state and federal government to trace the whereabouts of their children as they are now tired and helpless.
