Indigenous Award for Taraba PDP Governorship Candidate, symbol of recognition nationwide – Campaign Spokesman
Hon. Emmanuel Bello, the Campaign Spokesman for the People’s Democratic Party Governorship Candidate in Taraba state, Rt Lt. Col. Agbu Kefas has described the indigenous Award bestowed on the candidate as a symbol of nationwide acceptance.
He made the disclosure during an exclusive Interview with Nigerian NewsDirect while receiving the award on behalf of the Governorship candidate in Abuja on Saturday.
He said ” I’m here representing my Boss and they consider him worthy for this 7th Edition of the indigenous Award because of his competence. You know Lt Col. Kefas is someone who loves, contributed and almost gave his life for this country as one of the military elites.
“You will agree with me that he’s among the people that have sacrifice alot to keep this country peaceful and united, Therefore, he deserved to be recognized.
To Tarabians, The Campaign Mouthpiece stressed that the award to the Governorship candidate indicates his resilient effort, preparedness to handle potentials of the state as Governor and to explore the entire country and globe to be attracted into the state.
Hon. Bello, a Former Commissioner of Information in Taraba state emphasized that such indigenous events like this should be encouraged by stakeholders in Government and Corporate entities to bring Nigerians together at the time of agitations for disintegration.
He said ” There’s no time in the history of our country that we have been called upon or our unity has been tasked in a manner like this current dispensation but events like this will bridge the gap by bringing us together as one country as you can see the displayed in the unity dance.
