The Interim Management Committee (IMC) has promised a smooth ending to the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The 2022/23 NPFL abridged season is expected to end next month following readjustment of Group B fixtures.
Top three teams from each group will proceed to the Super Six playoffs in Lagos
Head of Operation, IMC, Davidson Owumi, said the league body is looking to end the season on a high.
“We are happy so far with the performance of the clubs, the conduct of the majority of our match officials and the fans in most venues.
“It’s never perfect and we are working to plug all gaps, especially at this last stage when desperation has set in,” he stated.
Matchday 18 will be played in Group A this weekend, with Group B fixtures set to be concluded next week.
