I’m holding collective victory mandate of APC in Ondo South – Jimoh Ibrahim

Business mogul, Dr Jimoh Ibrahim, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ondo South Senatorial District, says he holds the collective victory mandate of the party in the 2023 general elections.

Ibrahim was declared winner of the senatorial primary election, held on Saturday.

He polled 190 votes, beating his closest rival, Mathew Oyerinmade, who got 92 votes. Boye Oyewunmi got 23 votes, Olusola Iji and Morayo Lebi had nine votes each while Muyiwa Akinfolarin got zero vote.

Ibrahim, while giving his appreciation speech on Sunday, at his University of Fortunes, Igbotako, expressed gratitude to all constituents for their support to bring vast development to the district.

“I express my gratitude to all Ondo South constituents, APC leadership, members, delegates, my committee members and all stakeholders for their support for a victorious outing at the primary.

“My appreciation also goes to Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu, a senior advocate, hagemon of politics and leader in the state for giving all aspirants a level playing ground to contest, especially his unwavering support for me.

“I am holding the collective victory mandate of Ondo South, as we will deploy the “Domestic Socialisation” strategy to win next year’s general election just as we deployed the “Bulb Lighting” strategy to win the primary,” he said.

Ibrahim, however, promised to carry everyone along as he hits the ground runing to ensure total victory at the 2023 general elections.
