I’ll operate on principles of justice, equity – New Cross River CP, Sule

The new Commissioner of Police in Cross River State, Balarabe Sule, has declared that under his watch, the state police command will conscientiously operate on the principles of justice, equity and fairness.

He maintained that he would operate in accordance with the laws of the land.

Sule, who is now one week in office, called on Nigerian youths to shun thuggery, social vices and other forms of violence,.

He called on political party leaders, stakeholders, and citizens to play by the rules and go about their legitimate businesses without fear of molestation.

The police boss who hosted the chairman of Cross River State Nigeria Union of Journalists, Gill Nsa, and his delegation in his office assured media practitioners of accessibility to adequate security information in their bid for effective dissemination to the public.

He sought enhanced and robust partnerships from members of the public, existing institutions and corporate bodies towards the onerous tasks of safeguarding lives and property for all.

The CP called for closer collaboration, professionalism, and a voluntary information network to ease communication hazards in policing and other needed supports to flush out miscreants and criminal elements in the State.

Speaking earlier, Gill said the visit was necessary, given the important roles the two bodies play in the society, especially with the 2023 elections drawing nearer.

Assuring closer collaboration with the police, Gill emphasized that his visit was also to re-establish affinity with reputable organizations aimed at engendering development in society.
