Ilechukwu targets Federation Cup success with Plateau United
Plateau United head coach, Fidelis Ilechwuku, has revealed that their target is to win the Federation Cup this season.
The Peace Boys are looking to secure a place in the CAF Confederation Cup.
United failed to qualify for the Nigeria Premier Football League Super Six playoff after losing to Remo Stars on matchday 17 in Jos.
Plateau United will take on Rangers in the semi-final match of the cup competition on Thursday at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium Ijebu Ode.
“We want to start with a victory against Rangers on thursday in the semi final”, he told Newsmen.
“We have our target, which is to win the 2023 Federation Cup.
“With that we can achieve our season goal of making it to the continent.”
The winner of the Federation Cup will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
