Ife zonal FRSC decorates 7 promoted officers

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), RS11.11 Ife Unit Command, on Friday, decorated seven of its newly promoted and officers with their ranks.

Addressing the newly promoted officers at the command’s office in Ile-Ife, the Acting Unit Commander, CRC Pius Ogunloye, urged them to uphold the core value of the FRSC.

The newly promoted officers include: Mr Odediji Olutunde, who was promoted to Route Commander.

Others are: Mr Jephtha Adeniji, Mr Taiwo Alonge, Mr Gabriel Olawale, Mr Isreal Olabisi, Mr Idris Mukta and Mr Solomon, were promoted to Assistant Route Commanders respectively.

Ogunloye said that Corps Marshal and management of FRSC released the harmonization of ranks of staff in the Corps who have served diligently and attained additional qualifications in the course of their duties.

He added that some of their staff were opportune to be among the decorated officers that have prepared for it, “when preparation meets opportunity the person excels”.

The CRC noted that the decorated officers must have invested a lots of funds, sacrifices, commitment and discipline before attaining the fact.

“The Bible says, “seest thou a man diligent in his business ;he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men”, he quoted.

Ogunloye admonished them to live up to the expectations of the corps and ensure they support the corporate strategic goals and redouble their efforts in taking the FRSC to greater heights.

Also, the DPO Ipetumodu, CSP Oke Solomon, appreciated God for the lives of the newly decorated officers, while congratulating them stressed that it’s the Lord’s doing and must be Marvell in their sight.

Solomon charged them to hold unto God and fear God in their works, adding that only God has the ability to promote and demote one.

He appealed to them to ensure that they fulfil their mission of safety motoring environment in Nigeria and should increase their zeal in carrying out their duties.

One of the newly decorated officers, RC Odediji Olutunde, who spoke on behalf of others, appreciated all officers that graced the programme.

He promised that they’ll not disappoint the corporate, but will work harder with other staff and will ensure that they fllow the rules and regulations guided so as to defend their promotion.
