Iconic looks at RMD’s 60th birthday celebration

Hello fashionable! In today’s article we’re going to be gushing over the artistic fashion extravagance that ensued during the past week whilst celebrating a Nollywood Veteran, actor, producer, writer, husband, father, grandfather and an iconic Zaddy to all, Richard Mofe Damijo; popularly known as RMD, as he turned 60 on the 6th of July 2021.
The star-studded birthday celebration was held at the prestigious Balmoral Centre of the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island. The Guest list to this birthday celebration entailed almost every Nigerian Celebrity and entertainment industry significant in existence. Personalities like: Nse-Ikpe Etim. Ini Edo, Shaffy Bello, Sola Sobowale, Funke Akindele-Bello and her Husband, Mercy Johnson Okojieand her husband, ‘Real Warri Pikin’ and JJC Skillz, Korede Bello, Dare Alade, Michelle Dede, Desmond Elliot, Uche Nnaji, Captain Demuren, Onyeka Onwenu, Mo Abudu,Kate Henshaw, Omotola Jalede Ekeinde, Unuoma McDermott,Kelechi Eke, Yomi Makun Seyi Vodi, Ramsey Nouah and many more. All dressed extraordinarily in sheer joy, smile, support and breathtaking attires.
Although the afore mentioned, there are 5 guests at the hastag birthday celebration of RMDat60 that stole our hearts with their attire, poise and elegance. The first on our list is Richard Mofe Damijo a.k.a RMD, Of course the birthday zaddy wasn’t going to come unprepared to stun our hearts at his own birthday celebration: Slaying us first with an all-black silver studded with a silver lapel suit with a black inner silver button shirt, crowned with a black bow tie and eventually a super cute and custom embedded Urhobo attire whilst being accompanied by his beautiful wife Jumobi Adegbesan who was beautifully dressed in a bronze like color lace adorned with simple but classy silver jewelries.
Second on our list is the ever-breathtaking world-renowned Nigerian actress, Nse-Ikpe Etim who graced our heart in an all-black shawl suit, accessorized with silver drop earrings, layered drop necklace and silver finger-rings, with her gorgeous natural hair held back and dyed to red perfection. Nse’s look to RMDat60’s birthday celebration can be described as a perfect depiction of elegance, strength and all things beyond societal inclined female limitation. You go girl!
Third on our list is the beautiful and iconic Nigerian ActressIni Edo who stole our heart in a sleeveless silver embellished one sided dress with silver beaded fringe, accessorized with a simple silver bracelet, mini drop silver earrings and a flawless makeup. The melanin glowing Ini Edo’s look can be described as neat, classy, sexy and chic. Fourth on our list is the ever-young veteran Nollywood Actress, Shaffy Bello who stunned in a blue sequence evening dress which had a net incorporated breast plate and statement inclined sleeve. Shaffy Bello’s look to the birthday celebration typically enlightened us that she’s not planning on getting old or overthrown anytime soon.
Fifth on our list for purpose of this article would have to be the Nigerian Socialite, Pretty Mike who stunned our heart in a gold embellished suit accompanied with a black top inner and my personal favorite, a gold step layered chocker like neck piece. Absolutely amazing look that screamed simplicity and goes beyond gender expectations.
Taking a break from all the breathtaking looks, Richard Mofe Damijo also celebrated his 60th birthday with a launch of his second book ‘Portrait of a Warri boy’ and a new perfume line called ‘Timeless’ all a depiction of his journey so far and his new beginning.
