I am impressed with the level of FG investment in Unity Schools — Hon. Goodluck

The Honourable Minister for State Education, Hon. Goodluck Nana has expressed satisfaction with the level of Federal Government investment in Unity Schools.

He disclosed this during his tour round Federal Colleges in Lagos recently.

The inspection started from King’s College Lagos and ended at the Federal School of Science and Technology Yaba.

In his address, he advised students to be hardworking, and disciplined in order to attain top grades and serve as a good ambassador to the institution.

Speaking at the Queens College, Hon. Goodluck urged female students to aspired by top female officials who has contributed to the growth of the country.

According to him, “Aspire to be great women tomorrow, you know there are women who are ministers like me doing well in Nigeria some of them passed through Queens College just like you are now.

“Let your name be heard all over the world so that when people see how well you are doing, and ask you where you are from, Queen’s College’s name will be mentioned.

“Forget all acts of indiscipline, concentrate on your studies. Tomorrow all what you see people enjoying now will be at your fingertips.”

However, he admonished students to ignore any form of distraction of any sort be it party, outings, internet/ social media and others to the glory of the school.

“I’m impressed with the level of Federal Government investment in Unity Colleges. We have gone to different Schools today and I must tell you that I’m very impressed with what I have seen so far

“However, we don’t have perfection  in everything. Some of the schools particularly in Science Technology Schools,  there are much to be done by the government.” He expressed
