Wife of Hon. Olaolu Oladapo, a popular politician in Ondo State, has been reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
It was gathered that Mrs. Toyin Oladapo was reportedly abducted by the gunmen while driving on Owo/Akungba-Akoko road on Friday, July 9, 2021.
Sources revealed that the victim was in her personal vehicle when she was suddenly blocked by some gunmen, suspected to be kidnappers in a white Toyota Hilux Sport Utility Vehicle(SUV) and was subsequently abducted.
According to one of the sources, “the gunmen came in a white tinted Hilux Jeep, intercepted the woman’s car and took her away .
“The case has been reported to the security agencies especially the state security outfit, ‘Amotekun’ and the army to comb everywhere and we are expecting a feedback soon.”
The Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Tee-Leo Ikoro, while reacting to the incident said that he had not gotten any report on the kidnapped. .
Ikoro, however, said the command, with concerted efforts with other sister agencies, would not leave any stone unturned in tracking down the perpetrators.
