I am an orphan, I lost my father when I was 5 and my mother bid us farewell when I was barely 9 years old.
I began to be a commodity in transit, I moved from one family member house to another, I suffered a lot of abuses in the hands of people I lived with.
2014, I finally came to Ilesa to see if I can just make ends meet.
I need to say this, in the course of my transit, none of my family member deem it fit to send me to school or learn a trade.
I came to Ilesa to live in the only house I knew was owned by our greatgrandfather, at least I was given a place to lay my head.
One day, I was listening to the radio when I heard of the foundation scheme of Hon. L. B. Ayeni, my mind told me to just give it a trial, at least there is no harm in trial.
On that fateful day, I trekked from Muroko road to Okesa where the Foundation office was situated.
I was handed the form, I hesitated, waiting for someone to ask me for money in exchange the form, after a few seconds of waiting, I moved backwards, still thinking I will be called back, but no one did.
I was given the Form for free.
The next day I filled the form with the aid of a teacher in my compound, without wasting time, I submitted the next day and I was asked to come back a week later to check where I was posted.
Alas, I was posted to a very kind woman, whose shop is trekkable to my house.
In a jiffy, I and many others completed our training after a year, Hon. L. B. Ayeni, asked us to go learn for another six months and I gladly went back to learn.
Two months after, I completed the training in Hon. L. B. Ayeni foundation Empowerment scheme, I was called on for graduation.
Still like a dream to me, I went to the foundation office, preparation for Graduation ceremony started, I was still expecting them to ask me for money but no one did.
The date was announced and the d day came.
I was still doubting!
I got to the venue and after all activities. The graduands were called forward to stand beside the start up working tools provided by the foundation.
As I was called forward to receive my certificate, tears of joy rolled down my eyes. I cried, I mean, I shed tears. Tears of hope, tears of joy! Tears of survival and a guaranteed future. I felt the presence of my late parents, I saw a great future for the first time after the death of my parents.
To cut a long story short, a brand new sewing machine was handed over to me!
You know what? I couldn’t sleep all through the night!
I prayed profusely for Hon. L. B. Ayeni.
Today, I can confidently say Hon. L. B. Ayeni gave me hope for a new beginning.
I have a fashion shop now and doing very well.
This is a story of many hopeless beneficiaries of Hon. L. B. Ayeni foundation Empowerment scheme.
Hon. L. B. Ayeni, it’s only death that can make me not to vote for you, I and my household. God will make your reelection bid come to reality.
