A housewife, Okhiria Faith Adaeze, in Agu-Awka village in Chukwu North-west local government in Anambra state has raised alarm over threat to her life and that of her family at the hands of Fulani herdmen due to ongoing herdsmen-farmer crisis.
Aged 30, she disclosed that the incident happened on the 14th of April 2019.
She said, “Our family house was attacked by Fulani herdsmens as a result of the herdsmen-farmer crisis in our community.
“My husband, Okhiria Sunday, was well known to some of the Fulani herdsmen living with us, and as a result of the nature of his job as a Force man they turned against us and started fighting us. This made me and my children run away from the village in Nigeria to avoid being killed by the herdsmen.”
