No fewer than over 300 people in Kuchibedna community in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja benefited from free medical outreach by a Non Governmental organization called Hope Ambassadors for Peace in Africa Iniiative (HAPAI).
Speaking to Newsmen during the event, the Executive Director of HAPAI, Amb. Frank A. Chinedu said the organisation is focused on promoting peace, empowering youths and providing succour to the less-priviledged in the society.
He said ” over 300 people have benefited from our free medical outreach in conducting Free blood sugar test, blood pressure check, free malaria testing and drugs, de-worming drugs etc and we’re rendering health education, counseling to them on family planning.
“The NGO carried out free medical outreach for the indigent, aged and children in the communities.”
Ambassador Chinedu stressed that the mission of the Organization is to bring hope and positive change to the lives of the needy in the society and to promote good governance and sustainable peace among Nigeria’s and Africa communities by harnessing the commitment of dedicated staff and volunteers for high impact in community based services.
The Executive Director explained that the medical outreach carried out is one of the numerous outreaches and intervention programmes done by Hope Ambassadors for Peace in Africa Initiative (HAPAI) in a community in North-Central Nigeria known as Kuchibedna community.
According to him the Organization will continue to carry out numerous outreaches and other intervention programmes that is line with its vision of eradicating poverty and enabling a peaceful society where everyone can live in peace, access good governance, good health and quality education at all times.
