Honour for Tulcan energy boss as LAUTECH decorates him with Honorary Doctorate Degree

Prince Tayo Adeyemi Adiatu, the Chief Executive Officer of Tulcan Energy Resources Ltd, Lagos, will be honoured with an honorary doctorate by Ladoke Aknitola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo state, Nigeria.

In the letter conveying the intention to confer the award signed by the institution’s registrar, Dr. Kayode Ogunleye, the school voted to award the Doctor of Business Administration (D.BA, Honoris Causa) to the business executive in order to honour his contribution to human development and the society in general.

Referring to LAUTECH’s letter to Adiatu, Niyi Fehintola, a communication consultant who made this known to OYOINSIGHT.COM, revealed that “The University Community searchlight has been beamed on you, in recognition of your contribution to the development of humanity in general. We, therefore, deem it fit to confer on you an Award of Honorary Degree, Doctor of Business Administration, D.BA. (Honoris Causa) during the forthcoming Convocation ceremonies slated for April 29, 2023 at 10.00 a.m. in The Great Hall of the University.”

Prince Adiatu who incidentally is a graduate of the institution studying Pure and Applied Chemistry and later bagging MBA Marketing, is an astute businessman of international repute.

He also bagged an Executive MBA degree from the Metropolitan School of Business Management (MSBM), London, UK and concluded the Owner/President Management programme (OPM) at the Harvard Business School, Boston, USA.

Of Iwo, Osun state heritage, he was born and bred in Ogbomoso, Oyo state, being a son of late Prince G.A. Adiatu, the founder and medical officer in charge of the famous Ariyo Maternity Home and Clinic otherwise known as Adiatu Hospital (one of the first generation private health clinics in Ogbomoso) at Odo-Oru area, his name giving the section of the area the forename by which it is popularly known today – Adiatu area.
