Hon. Boriya dismisses alleged moves by Saraki to reclaim Kwara

Going by the overwhelming performance of Governor AbdulRahaman AbdulRazak of Kwara state in the past two years, there will be no cause for alarm come 2023.
Dismissing the fear, that the former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki is regrouping to stage a come back in the state come 2023, a lawmaker , Hon. Mohammed Boriya said Kwara Kwarans are now wise and know those who have their interest at heart.
Speaking in an interview, Boriya who represents Okuta\Yasikira Constituency in the state House of Assembly, said the administration’s presence was visible everywhere, impacting the lives of the people.
He cited the bringing back of the education sector in the state, the opening up of long neglected roads in Bariteen and other localities in the state, the prompt provision of portable water that stopped people from sharing Brooks and springs water with animals, the renovation of the education and health sectors as well as provision of electricity etc, as examples of the administration’s impact on the people.
Generally, Hon. Boriya who is the chairman of the state of Assembly on Education and Human Capital Development, said the administration has brought back education to life in a facelift in the state.
“Go to the localities and see the Outlook of our rural schools now also wearing facelift physically and matarially.
“On utilization of SUBEB funds, the lawmaker hinted that his committee was performing its oversight functions accordingly, going round inspecting ongoing education projects and calling contractors to order in few cases where work wasn’t accordingly to specifications.”
On his part, Hon. Boriya Muhammed Baba Alihu said he had personally dug motorized boreholes , hand pumped boreholes, constructed a health centre, renovations of classrooms, provided zinc and cement to some schools, as well as generating sets to security agents in his Constituency.
He urged people to be patient with the administration as all their problems could not be solved at a goal.
“They should also be prayerful for the country to overcome her economic and financial challenges and support the government maximally to exel,” Hon. Boriya charged.
