He can do everything – Taylor names world’s best footballer
Inter Miami star Robert Taylor has named Lionel Messi as the best footballer in the world.
This was following Inter Miami’s 4-0 League Cup win over Atlanta United at the DRV PNK Stadium on Tuesday.
The Herons secured their second win in two games since Messi joined from PSG and played his first game last week.
In his first game for the American side, Messi scored a last minute winner as Inter Miami defeated Cruz Azul 2-1.
Messi bagged a brace inside 22 minutes on Tuesday, while Taylor scored twice on either side of the break.
“I think we found spaces in behind pretty well. We had good balance whenever Leo had the ball, creates a lot of space for everyone else,” Taylor said after the game.
“He can truly do everything. He makes the right decision 100 percent of the time. Most of the time, he finds a teammate in space.
“He’s the best player in the world, this is what he does regularly. It’s a dream come true to play with him.”
