Gunmen raze home of Imo Commissioner for Information Declan Emelumba

Unknown Gunmen have attacked the country home of the Imo state commissioner for information, Declan Emelumba at Ubulu-Ihejiofor community in Oru West Local government area of Imo state.

The Commissioner who confirmed the attack Sunday morning said some part of the building in his compound was razed by the hoodlums but no life was lost.

According to him the gunmen after attacking his home proceeded to the home of the Chairman, Interim management committee of Oru west local government, Willy Okoliogwo and also razed down some parts of his house and later made away with the Local Government Ambulance parked in the compound.

Emelumba said the ambulance is one of the vehicles reportedly recovered by security operatives during an attempted attack on Police headquarters that was repelled by security agencies on Sunday Morning.

The Imo State Police Command is yet to confirm the attack on the Commissioner.
