Governor Zulum holds impromptu test for teachers in Baga
Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum visited with sixty-five school teachers in Baga town on Wednesday, where he conducted an impromptu aptitude test to assess their qualifications and abilities to teach.
Zulum explained to the teachers that the purpose of the aptitude exam was not to fire anyone, but to identify their capacity and where they should be placed.
According to the governor, individuals who are unable to teach will be offered the option of redeploying to the administrative cadre or pursuing additional training.
After conversing and releasing their aptitude test results, Zulum announced a package of 20,000 Naira for each, with Senior Secondary School Principals and Primary School Head Teachers receiving 50,000 Naira apiece.
