Governor Namadi loses son in ghastly accident 24 hrs after mother’s death

Tragedy struck the family of Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, on Thursday, as his 24-year-old son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi, died in a car accident along the Dutse-Kafin-Hausa Road.

According to a statement by the Secretary to the Governor, Malam Hamisu Mohammed Gumel, the deceased was buried in Kafin Hausa town, in accordance with Islamic traditions.

Governor Namadi expressed his resignation to the will of Allah, quoting the Islamic saying, “To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.”

Abdulwahab is survived by his parents and many siblings.
